FAQ's
Below, you'll find additional information about our collections and company. If you can't find the answer you're looking for, we encourage you to reach out to one of our friendly staff members.
For smaller, galley kitchens, we recommend our Shaker Bar Stool or Padstow Bar Stool. These wooden bar stools have a small footprint, making them ideal for compact spaces. Their backless design allows them to tuck neatly under the kitchen counter, reducing clutter. If you prefer more support and comfort, consider our Warminster bar stool, the narrowest option among our backed designs.
Our wooden bar stools typically have a standard seat height of 65–70 cm. This height is ideal for kitchen islands or breakfast bars with a standard height of 89–91 cm. For comfort, aim for at least 20 cm of space between the underside of your kitchen island and the top of the bar stool seat. If your kitchen island is lower than standard, we can adjust the height of any of our hardwood bar stools to your specifications. For restaurant bars, which are usually a metre tall, we suggest a bar stool seat height of 80 cm. If you're looking for a taller option, our Warminster Bar Stool is the perfect choice.
Both oak and beech are hardwoods, meaning they'll withstand the hustle and bustle of everyday life well. Oak is one of the most unique, durable, and prestigious woods available. Compared to beech, it has a beautiful swirling grain pattern that many people find attractive and desirable. We offer some wooden bar stools in both types of wood, providing a more affordable alternative without compromising on quality.
