Handmade Oak & Pine Dining Tables

Our collection of solid wood dining tables is individually handmade in our English workshops in Somerset by our expert craftsmen. Our philosophy is to "make it well and make it last," so when it comes to designing our dining tables, we ensure we use the best materials, traditional techniques, and modern engineering to create a table that's built for longevity.

Our collection is developed from an aesthetic deeply rooted in the English countryside. Celebrating British artistry even further, we're proud to offer a nature-inspired colour palette of 16 Farrow & Ball colours on each of our solid wood dining tables, which allows each piece to blend seamlessly into any interior. Custom dimensions are also available on any of our pine or oak dining tables.

FAQ's

Below, you'll find additional information about our collections and company. If you can't find the answer you're looking for, we encourage you to reach out to one of our friendly staff members.

The main difference between a pine and an oak dining table is the durability and strength of the wood. As a type of hardwood, oak-made furniture is highly resistant to the everyday wear and tear that can compromise other materials. In contrast, pine is classified as a softwood and tends to be less dense than its hardwood counterparts such as oak. Pine furniture still provides a level of sturdiness and functionality, but its softer nature may leave it more susceptible to marks and dents.

Pine is renowned for its natural colour, which mellows beautifully with age into a warm honey tone. For an authentic rustic look, we recommend a pine dining table. Oak, in contrast, is celebrated for its distinctive swirling grain pattern. If you're aiming for a contemporary, polished aesthetic, an oak table would be an excellent choice.
